A recently introduced tool called Photo Stack will group related images together by identifying the topic and the period of time the images were taken.
Google is introducing new capabilities for its Photos platform, which will now arrange and classify images in a user’s library using artificial intelligence (AI).
In addition to automatically grouping related photos together to clear up the library, it will recognize and automatically classify screenshots and documents into new albums for things like IDs, receipts, and the like to make sorting simpler. It automatically selects a “Top pick” that it believes to be the greatest image from the stack. Top picks can also be explicitly assigned by users.
